About
I am an AI Fellow (AI Assistant Professor) in the Center for AI and Natural Sciences (CAINS) at Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS). Recently until May 2026, I was a Van Vleck Assisntant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where my postdoctoral mentor was Gheorghe Craciun. I also collaborate with Hanbaek Lyu, Qin Li, and Matthew Colbrook on Koopman theory, and with Wolfram Liebermeister on structural sensitivity analysis and metabolic control analysis.
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at KAIST, under the supervision of Jae Kyoung Kim. My research focuses primarily on mathematical biology, dynamical systems, and scientific machine learning (sciML).
